NEW HOME INSPECTION

We work with builders construction new homes

• Are you a local Builder or Owner/Builder? We can perform the PUR inspections that you need.
• New home inspections are done to ensure that all aspects of the home are being completed according to the International Building Codes.
• All of the inspections are based on the current Alaska Housing Finance Corporation standards for building codes and are accompanied by the Alaska Housing Form PUR 102.
• Form PUR102 Includes the Following Inspections:
• Plans Approval
• Foundation & Footings
• Rough-In (Framing, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical)
• Insulation & Vapor Barrier
• Final Inspection
• During the course of building we make an honest effort to cooperate with the builder to ensure that the flow of building is not interrupted.

• To start off we work for you, and try to be on the site inspecting as soon as each phase is complete.

• Once the contract has been signed we promptly get to work checking the approved plans. The following inspections can be scheduled in advance, or made when the phase is near completion. It is best to notify us as soon as the end of the phase is in sight, that we may plan accordingly to ensure that there are no delays in building.

• It is the Builders responsibility to ensure that all of the systems that are to be inspected are accessible and viewable at the time of the inspection.

• Following the final inspection the PUR102 form will be completed, signed, and delivered to the builder.
